Dr. Abdullah Al-Mujaini completed his 5 years post-graduate training in Ophthalmology from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Following that, he then spent one more year to finish his fellowship in the field of Orbit, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In the summer of 2006 he joined Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman as a Senior Consultant and Head of Oculo-Plastic Service. Recently he moved to the College of Medicine and Health Science at Sultan Qaboos University as an Associate Professor.

Dr. Al-Mujaini served as the Director of Training at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in the year 2012-2015. Currently, he is the chairman of Ophthalmology Residency Program in Oman. He is also a member of Executive Board of Oman Medical Specialty Board and board of Trustee for the University of Buraimi, Oman. He has over 45 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and presented his lectures and work in so many international conferences and events throughout the world.
